On November 29, 2006, in the KROQ Christmas issue, Tom DeLonge has stated that the band is going to make one last album entitled 'One For The Kids', then after the release the band will be officially over, thus ending the long-awaited haitus that had started on February 17, 2005 to May 2007. The Groups entire history together dating from 1992 to 2007 will be over after the record is done and the band mates will permanently(possibly) dispart from eachother.

Although very little attention has been leaked so far(due to fans not paying attention), some fans are wondering how the bandmates are going to record the album, especially after the tension Mark and Tom have created from Tom's mysterious and 'un-forgivable' leave. It is possible that the bandmates may put aside their issues and problems and record the album as they use to, being together. Or, some specualte, that the members wil record a demo, then leave the rest to other, leaving the studio for the other to continue/add more material to the track.
Right now, the band in its entirety has not fully comfirmed the actaul re-unoin, for only Tom DeLonge himself has commented the issue himself. There has been a huge [[Myspace]] club devoted to the groups return,, such as 'AvA Fans','+44 Group'etc.. For now, a tour is highly unlikely to take place, due to +44's tour and Angels & Airwaves film productions for their upcoming film '[[AvA]]'

Tom Delonge said "were goin in here and making this last album for all of our fans and thats it, then its over" in the "KROQ magazine issued November 29, 2006" anyone going to get this mag?
