Travis Barker needs to take a rest
The most eclectic drummer of the world shocks blink-182 fans.
It seems quite umbelievable, but yesterday the 31st of March, the full-chest tattoed drummer shocked million fans, including us, saying that he will take a break from blink-182 after his current solo-project north american tour. " Part of my left arm is still insensitive.." - said Barker to MTV usa, which quickly interwieved him about this decision - " .. I need to work hard beside my physical terapist if I want my arm to be fully healed". Anyways, Travis won't stop his career: " During the terapy, I'll continue working on my solo project and the new Transplants album that will be released at the end of the year" - then he said - " I made this decision by following my heart, I don't feel like I'm giving my best with blink and I don't want to slow down the great job that Mark (Hoppus - bass) and Tom (Delonge - guitar) are doing for the new record". Travis carried on saying that blink-182 finished only 3 songs for the new album - due to be released this summer - because he gave priority to his solo project. Barker ended up giving the sad news to all the blink-182 fans " I don't know how long my break from blink will last, I prefer doing something else now. Mark and Tom are currently working in the studio with Pat Wilson (Weezer), who will also take part to the European tour this summer".
